Lucy is 10 years old. Her pedigree is part Golden Retriever (the heart part) and part Australian Shepherd (the herding part). Lucy was found at Pets And People in Yukon, Oklahoma http://www.petsandpeople.com.  She was chosen on euthanasia day to be saved and placed with a good home. Troy says that Lucy was the only dog out there that acted like she liked him so of course she was his choice too. The two of them have become great friends.
